I️ have been a dog owner since I️ was born. I️ have been a Veterinary Technician for 9 years now and am in the process of becoming certified. I currently work at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital as an Emergency and Critical Care Technician. I am also currently saving up to pay for veterinary school and in my free time I’d love to take care of your fur babies. I️ work Thursdays-Sundays, but I am still available to watch your pets. You don’t have to worry about your animals while you’re away, because as both a dog lover and trained tech, your babies will be in the best hands. Let me help provide some extra loving to your pets while you’re busy bringing home the bacon. As a tech, I’ve seen just about everything, so difficult pets, messy pets, and sick pets don’t scare me off at all.

I️ have a fenced in yard and live to play in my backyard with my dog. She gets meds in the morning and is on a special prescription diet. My cat is indoor only, but when I️ take my dog for walks he comes along in my pet stroller to get some safe fresh air. My animals like to free feed so I️ leave food out all day, but my other dog used to have scheduled feeding times, so I’m used to that too. I️ am able to pill your pets, give injections if needed (like insulin), feed accordingly, take them for walks, play in the backyard if fenced in, take them to the park (if ok with you), and spend quality play time and cuddle time. I️ know it can be stressful for both animals and owners to be apart, so I️ like to make sure my client’s babies are as happy and comfortable as ever.

I️ am all breed friendly. Yorkies to Pitts and Rotties and everything in between. Not afraid of large dogs or “scary” breeds (all dogs deserve an equal chance). At work I️ handle dogs of all types, so I’m not bothered by any breed. I️ prefer to know what the dog enjoys, how often he/she needs to be taken out, or if he/she has any special needs. I️ am qualified to give insulin to diabetic pets, as well as any other medications (oral, topical, or injectable), but that would just be something I️ need to know in advance.
A typical day
I️ enjoy mixing up the scenery with my own dog. Sometimes we go for a hike, sometimes a walk by the bay, and sometimes just a loop around the park. I feel it’s important to keep them active mentally and physically. In addition to walks, I️ love playing both indoors and outdoors with just about anything they enjoy playing with (my dog’s personal favorite is frisbee).

Availability
I️ currently work four 10 hour shifts in Tinton Falls (Thursday-Sunday from 7am-5pm). These days I️ am able to day visit/walk twice a day, and I am able to stay overnight if needed. Monday-Wednesday I️ have off and I️ am able to visit 3 times a day.
