I met with Lauren previously to discuss the needs for my dogs, specifically that I’m looking for someone who is reliable and can spend a good amount of time with them during the day and at night. During the interview, she assured me that she is in school virtually and spends a lot of time at home. During my trip, I was suspicious that Lauren was not actually spending as much time at the house as expected, through alerts of her arrival and departure on my ring doorbell. It appeared to be about 1 quick visit in the afternoon (less than 30 minutes) and she would not arrive again until close to 9pm each night in which she would immediately go to bed. I need to emphasize that this is not a schedule we agreed to, nor one that I have ever experienced with a house sitter. I still was not compelled enough to leave a review, until my neighbor just now approached me to let me know that they were incredibly concerned with the last house sitter I had. They said they even attempted to contact other neighbors to see if someone had my phone number as they were worried that my dogs were being neglected. They confirmed that Lauren was rarely at the house and if so, only for a short period of time. They said this behavior lasted for days and they were worried sick for my dogs during the entire stay. Keep in mind, I’ve had many house sitters as I travel often, and I have never had a neighbor approach me with any concern. This was incredibly alarming to me and further solidified my suspicions of Lauren’s negligence to fulfill her dog sitting responsibilities.

Lauren is incredible with pets and a very kind and responsible person! She has fed and checked in on my grandma’s cat Peaches numerous times when we’ve been away. Peaches is always comfortable and I know I can always count on Lauren!
