I am a lifelong dog person (also with a love of cats - I have two!) who walks, sits, plays with, brushes, pets, and otherwise loves on all types of dogs. I've cared for all sizes of pups, from mini dachshunds to mastiffs, and of all ages including puppies and old fellas. I'm great at providing firm but kind authority and being watchful of any potential pitfalls depending on the task (e.g. off leash dogs on walks, hazardous objects being chewed, etc). I'm very deferential to dogs when first meeting them and take a gentle approach to getting to know them - I make sure that dogs are comfortable with me before making any authoritative or leading moves, and I've never had any negative encounters when meeting animals. I do have experience working with dog-aggressive dogs and walking animals that require a lot of attention in terms of pulling, running after cats/squirrels/etc, and other aggressions. Basically, I am the go-to person for all of my friends with dogs both for staying over and for drop ins, and I would love to take care of yours! I know how nerve-wracking it can be to leave your pets with someone new in your home. I guarantee that I will take great care of everything! I love spending time with animals and am always sure to give them lots of attention, play time, and pets according to what they want.
