Pet care experience
I've owned high-energy breed dogs for years and currently have a 10 mo. old Aussie puppy named Raya who LOVES to play with friends! Raya frequently goes to the dog park, does obedience training (and knows 30+ tricks!) and loves chasing her herding ball in the yard. There's nothing more my partner and I love than spoiling her and any other dogs that come into our home :)

Lauren watched my almost 2 year old chocolate lab Millie kind of last minute and we were SO pleased with her care. Lauren arranged a meet up so I felt more comfortable, communicated with me throughout the day every day, sent tons of pics/videos, her dog raya plays so well with other dogs. Millie was so sad to leave and misses her new friend already. My mind was at ease leaving Millie with lauren, she’s such a great doggy mama. I will absolutely use lauren every time we have a trip! It was nice knowing our baby was happy, healthy and having a blast. Thank you lauren!
Lauren has watched my dog, Petrie, countless times, and we've had only positive experiences. He can be anxious when he’s away from me, but not only does he love Lauren, he has an absolute blast playing with her dog, Raya. He’s always ecstatic to be there, and sad to leave when his stay is over. She's very caring and professional, and highly recommended if you want to know your dog is somewhere happy and safe!
Lauren watched our black lab, Purl, last week last minute and let me tell you—she was a lifesaver! She has a big yard with plenty of room to play. Also, Her dog, Raya, is a great playmate and gets along well with other dogs. She was kind and professional and followed all our instructions to a T! Purl returned to us happy and well taken care of. We definitely will be using Lauren again!!!

Outside of feeding schedule and immediate needs, it's important for me to know how your dog plays with other dogs and if they have any resource-guarding tendencies or "pet-peeves"
A typical day
We play tons of enrichment games and do puzzles, obedience training and tricks, and the dogs have free reign of the large yard with plenty of sticks and balls to chase. We're in close proximity to the Lakeshore Trail when the weather is nice, and sometimes we go to Secret Beach for a swim!

Availability
My partner is first up in the morning and will feed breakfast to the pups and give them some outdoor playtime. When I get up we usually do at least one training and enrichment session, and then I watch the pups play while I work. This includes as much outdoor play as they want/need, and inside whenever it gets too hot. I also enforce naps and occasional separation throughout the day, especially for younger dogs who never want the fun to end. Dinnertime is around 6 pm when my partner comes back home, then more play, and finally.. we relax.
