I have had dogs my whole life and have been pet sitting for over 6 years. I work part time at a horse farm and have for almost 10 years so I have quite a bit of experience with working with animals and animal behavior. My job entails feeding, exercising, giving medication, checking wellness of horses. I have helped manage a heard of 18-27 horses at a time.

This was my first time using a pet sitter and got lucky in choosing Lauren. She handled everything with my cats exactly as I would have, and that’s the highest praise I can give. Will absolutely book again.
Lauren was a pleasure to work with. Zilla who is usually quite talkative to new people warmed right up to her and Oreo is a sucker for belly rubs. She spent plenty of time with the babies and is very attentive, and we have a senior citizen baby in diapers and she was attentive to her needs. We look forward to utilizing her in the future.
Lauren was great. Took care of our pups, very responsive. Will book again :)

I have experience giving dogs and cats medicine, crating them if needed, walking on leash, letting out into yard, correcting if needed, and working with a bit more difficult dogs. I do work part time though so if it’s a dog that needs 24/7 attention probably not the right fit but am never gone for more than 4-5 hours.

A typical day
I will follow any schedule you give me for your animal and can take them on walks, give meds, feed, and any other care requirements necessary for them to be happy while you’re away.

Availability
I work part time currently at my job so am free to do pet care in the other hours of the day. My schedule for my job is usually as follows and the hours I am not working I am free to do pertcare. Weekdays I generally work from around 8-12:30 in the morning and around 3-5:30 in the evening. So the hours in between and after those times I am free. On weekends I usually have a short morning or evening shift Or occasionally both 8-9:30 and/or 3:30-5 and am free the rest of the day.
