Don't be afraid to get too specific! I'd rather know too much than too little. ANY special instructions or requirements will be followed to the letter. Our schedule is constantly changing to fit our work so I'll take cues from your typical day. Please disclose any situations that are consistently challenging for your pet. Disclosing predictable yet manageable behavior won't deter me from a dog sit- that information sets us all up for success. When you think about it, living creatures that exist with us but don't speak our language are allowed to be confused. Most of the time "bad" behavior is a confusion which results in a panicked animal.

Expect pictures & videos- especially if we nail down a great trick (I'm convinced the slo-mo video function was invented for dog owners). Walks! We love taking walks in Tower Grove Park. My pup loves walking with 4-legged friends. Playtime! I've found my favorite activities are games that provide a mental challenge for walter. When the cabin fever set in last winter, I ended up doing a TON of research into "thinking" games for dogs. I had to try a bunch of different techniques to see what my dog enjoyed which educated me thoroughly on the subject. OPTIONAL: Tricks & Training! If you've got behavior you're trying to enforce or a trick you're trying to work on, we'll make sure your pup does their homework. My pup has learned tricks from other pups & they have learned from watching him (if he could nail down 'fetch' with another pup, that would be wonderful!). Healthy Treats! I make dried sweet potato chewers for my pup & we use carrots for training treats. Corgis tend to pack on the pounds so I've educated myself on natural dog treats. Grooming! Owning a corgi means constant fluff management. I've gotten so used to brushing my dog that I always have a brush & lint roller handy. I've also got every brush, comb, & shine spray in the book that we tried before we found what worked for my own dog-shaped fur factory. Car rides! If your pup is particularly fond of the wind in their ears, just let me know. I've got a safety harness that clips to the seat belt. These would be errands where pups can come with- we don't leave our dog in the car alone.
