Lauren was so good to our dog Tito while boarding him for 8 nights. We got daily updates and photos, but the best was knowing he was well attended to. It made our vacation so enjoyable to know he was getting the same care and love he would have gotten if we were home. Not only did we find a new sitter for Tito, we consider Lauren a friend! Cannot have a higher recommendation for your pet needs.
I cannot speak highly enough of Lauren, both as a dog sitter, and a person. We left our 1 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback with Lauren for 2 weeks, when we travelled overseas. It was our first time leaving him, so we were very nervous about being apart from him for so long. After speaking with Lauren on the phone, and meeting up with her and her girls at the dog park, I felt instantly at ease with her, and sensed that she would do a great job with our pup. She proved me right, and then some, during Winston's stay. To begin with, we unknowingly (and horrifyingly) sent him to her home with a very contagious form of "dog warts" that we hadn't noticed in his mouth. She noticed them on the second day of his stay, after he started bleeding from the mouth. She responded immediately by reaching out to both myself, and our vet, and within less than 24 hours (on a weekend), she had spoken to the Vet and received reassurances and instructions for his care. Anyone else in this situation may have understandably reacted with outrage that we had sent him into her home with her dogs with a contagious virus. But Lauren showed us nothing but grace and kindness, and she poured her heart and soul into our dog. She sent cute and funny pictures (meme style) every day, communicated with us on how he was doing, and as he turned a year old while we were away, she even celebrated his birthday, complete with a birthday hat and a new chew-toy for a present! She truly treated him as if he were a member of her own pack. We felt absolutely ill that we had sent him to her with this virus. But in every way possible she put our minds at ease, knowing that he was being so well cared for by such a kind and genuinely good person. I highly recommend her as a dog sitter, and we will most definitely be requesting her again (if she will have us!;)).
Lauren is a PHENOMENAL dog sitter! We are just finishing up a long stay with her,
Lauren was incredibly sweet with our very timid pooch, who was well cared for and took to Lauren’s dogs as well. Looking forward to repeating!!
