Pet care experience
I have owned pet my entire life. My dream job as child was to be a vet. I have had a family dog for 13 years now and I love training her, teaching her new tricks, going on walks and playing, she is my no.1 adventure companion. Recently graduated as a Physiotherapist and have moved back to Glasgow where I get to spend everyday with my gorgeous family dog, Jazz (in most of my profile pictures). Whilst living away from home as a student I missed the comfort, company and love than a dog brings to your life so I decided to start helping care for others special furry friends. I have been walking and caring for dogs on the “BorrowMyDoggy” app and Rover for three years now and I love meeting and connecting with new dogs and their families. I have countless energy and I love outdoors. I know I love the dogs I meet on my walks and care for, and I know they love my company too.

Lauren is dependable and caring. She turns up when arranged. Lauren is great with people as well as animals; always with a smile and a positive attitude to the day. Dogs seem to pick up on that too. Our dog loves going for walks with her and turns content.

The garden is gained with high fences, living on a quite street. Currently have my own senior dog in the house who is very chill and friendly. Also I do have a flat where I can stay with the dog if they prefer to be the centre of attention without having to share with any other pets!

A typical day
I love taking the dogs outdoors and to new places so they can experience stimulating new environments, we’ll play with toys and games. Try new tricks or happily progress in training if you would like them too! I’m happy to take dogs to more sociable environments or to places more nervous/less sociable dogs will enjoy so it’s just me them!

Availability
I currently work part time Monday - Thursday 9am-3:15pm. I’m free from work Friday- Sunday. I’m able to do drop ins before/after my working hours and anytime during the weekend.
