Pet care experience
I grew up in a family that is very passionate about dog rescue and always had multiple dogs at home. With my current lease, I am unable to adopt a dog, so I am excited to dog sit and spend time with yours! I have experience pet sitting for dogs of all breeds, ages, and sizes. I am comfortable providing medication, caring for puppies, giving walks, and caring for skittish pets during thunderstorms. In addition to dog sitting, I have experience pet sitting for kittens, cats, birds, and turtles.

Lauren was an excellent in-home sitter for our dog, Abby. The day before we left, Abby was put on some new medication, and she had a bad reaction (vomiting and diarrhea). Lauren handled it beautifully. She cleaned everything up, gave us daily updates, offered to take Abby to the vet, and never uttered a word of complaint. We trusted her completely, as did Abby.
Lauren is so great!!! She took great care of our Westie Brandy and kept in touch throughout her stay. And the house was just as we left it when we arrived home. We will definitely be using Lauren again to stay with Brandy!!

Lauren was great! Very punctual ( actually early at my request) and so sweet! This was my first time using a pet sitter and I would use Lauren again without hesitation! My puppy Buttercup loved her and she cuddled her all night.

A typical day
Activities will vary based on the age and fitness level of each dog, but for highly active dogs I will take them outside to play ball or frisbee! I’m also happy to do training activities, especially with puppies, to reinforce skills they are learning.

Availability
I am currently only taking one class on Monday nights, so I have plenty of time to be with your pets. I believe that companionship is so important for animals, especially while their family is away. I will make sure pets feel comfortable and cared for by petting them, playing with them, and providing visits that are long enough to care for all of their needs.
