Pet care experience
First and foremost, my dogs are my EVERYTHING!! And I love them like a mother loves her child. With that being said, know that I would love and care for your pet all the same. I have had dogs my whole life, having dealt with all types of breeds and personalities. I have been a volunteer with several dog rescues since 2009 to current. I am also attending CATCH Canine Training Academy to become certified in the Masters Program for dog training. I have 3 medium to large dogs myself (and 2 Iguana's, 4 Goldfish and 2 Snails). One is deaf and was taught sign language and basic obedience; as well as an adopted "bait" dog who didn't even know how to play with a toy. He now walks with great confidence. I also have experience with dogs who have anxiety issues, having had a dog for 9 years who suffered with severe anxiety.

Great experience with Lauren. She walked our dog for a week during the day while we were away and our daughter was at school/work. We felt very comfortable with her from our first meet and greet. Her love for dogs is apparent but her knowledge of dog care and responsibility also shows through. Throughout the course of the week Lauren picked up our dog consistently sent photos and reports and we really were able to feel relaxed knowing our dog was in capable hands. I highly recommend her.
Lauren was amazing! We are new to the area so our dog Sampson was still adjusting to the new home. He immediately took to Lauren and now waits at the window for her to come walk him. Lauren always kept us updated on how he was doing on their walks with pictures and comments. We felt extremely comfortable with Lauren especially knowing she has pit bulls of her own and is familiar with the breed. I would recommend her to anyone!

I believe I should know everything there is to know about your dog. Their likes and dislikes. What makes your dog feel comfortable and what doesn't? What foods and treats your dog can and can't have? Any and all medications your dog is currently on. Any health or behavioral issues I need to be aware of. Are they dog and or cat friendly? Do they have anxiety issues that I should know about? I want YOU to feel confident that your dog is going to be in GREAT hands as I would expect the same if I was looking for someone to care for my own pets.
A typical day
Parks are a great source for dog walks, however, not every dog is OK being in a park-like setting, therefore we will walk wherever the dog feels comfortable; local neighborhoods, town setting, maybe even a lake or beach walk. I enjoy play time with dogs as all dogs play differently. Some like playing with you and some like playing alone. Some like to fetch and retrieve balls while others just like the chase. Some dogs just want belly rubs and treats :)
