Growing up, I was raised in a house that always loved animals, especially dogs. We were a family that takes care of their dogs as if they are people because we see them as an integral part of our family. As I got older and moved away from home for college, I adopted my own dog at 8 weeks of age. He is a blue-eyed, extra-furry white Siberian Husky named Cano. Cano is 4 years old now and has been my companion as I've moved across multiple different states for jobs and in the last year for medical school in Memphis. I am very serious about taking good care of our animals- including regular exercise and walks, plenty of attention and play time, and good (practically human grade dog food) diet. Cano has multiple food allergies and his vet always compliments how well he is taken care of (which means the world to me as a fur mom). I have had experience pet sitting a friends 100 lb Rottweiler and my family's Golden Retriever. As I am on summer break for medical school over the next few months I have a lot of spare time and couldn't imagine it better spent then helping others as they vacation this summer with their animals! I know how hard it is to leave them during the work day or for travel, which is why I will keep in regular contact with pet owners throughout the day (pics,texts, etc.) to help diminish any separation anxiety from your doggy. If possible, I like to meet with you and your furry pal prior to any sitting days to have a better feel for their needs and your preferences as their parent!
