Pet care experience
I started off caring for two golden retrievers 4.5 years ago when I was fourteen years old. I am still their sole care provider for when the family is away and I love it. Two years ago I started to work at a dog daycare called Lucky Pawz. At Lucky Pawz I watch at maximum 15 dogs and make sure that while they are still having fun, they’re being safe. I also clean up after accidents, clean their kennels, and feed each dog their food and their medicine. I also watch for signs in dogs such as stress, anger, anxiousness, etc. I love working with dogs and seeing all the different personalities they have.

I had contacted Laurel last minute to walk my puppy and she promptly replied and was thrilled to do it! She communicated very well and our puppy seemed so happy when we came home! She sent lots of pictures which is truly appreciated! We will definitely use her again as we just moved to this area!

I live in a townhouse near a park that is a perfect walking spot for a dog. I like to take my dog, Jovi, there very often. Jovi is a 13 pound poochon (poodle/bichon) who loves other dogs. I frequently take her to my other job and she never wants to leave. Unfortunately I do not have the luxury of a backyard so when I know that my dog needs to run around without a leash, I like to take her to the iowa city dog park where she has the best time. I also take her to the Tiffin dog park, where it is less crowded. I live with my mom who loves dogs and is very welcoming to other dogs as well.

I love all breeds of dogs. I would like to know how your dog can get along with other dogs and if you have a big dog, can they handle small dogs? Does your dog have any medications or physical problems that would hinder their walking? Does your dog like lots of love and affection or do they prefer their space? I am okay with any answer, it makes me feel better and more confident to know more about your fluffy family.
A typical day
I would take the dog(s) for a walk to the park near my house. Since I own my own car, I can (with owner permission) take the dog(s) to the iowa city or Tiffin dog park to run around without the restraint of a leash. I also love to play fetch and it would be fun for me especially since my own dog doesn’t understand the concept of fetch.

I have a pretty flexible schedule. I have my school classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays during the days. Other than those two days I can most likely care for your pup at anytime.
