Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Laurel and I live in Avondale/Riverside area of Jacksonville. I grew up on a 22 acre farm in Pennsylvania. I’ve been taking care of all kinds of different animals since a very young age. Most of my friends are indeed animals! As of right now I’m a nanny in Avondale 30-35 hours a week. Ideally I’d like to walk dogs full time and not nanny. I understand what it’s like to worry about my beloved fur babies being alone. You will not need to worry about them. I will treat them as if they we’re my own. I’m healthy, I’ve got a reliable car and I’m willing to go at your dogs pace, a walk, a jog or even a bike ride.

Laurel cared for our dog Sage for over 3 years. She would take her on extra long walks, making sure she had plently of fresh water and giving her tons of love. She treated and cared for Sage as though she was her own dog. Sage is still thrilled to see Laurel when she visits. I would recommend laurel to anyone who needed someone to care for and love their pet when they are away.
We were thoroughly happy and satisfied with Laurel's work in caring for our elderly cat. She met our expectations and went above and beyond. Laurel asked all the right questions upon our initial meeting, reflecting her experience and thoughtfulness. Her fees are more than reasonable. We highly recommend her!
Laurel is probably the best animal person I know. She even Carrie's around cat food in case she comes across a ferrel cat! Shes very very responsible when asked to take care of my dog or anyone else's pet! She would absolutely be a fantastic caregiver for your fur baby!!!
Laurel has been such a great and helpful dog walker! My dog loves her and gets so excited when she comes over! She has been the best dog walker we have ever had and I highly recommend her.

A typical day
I am able to walk long distances, administrator meditations, brush/comb or wash dogs, take them in my Honda CR-V for rides to the dog park or beaches. I enjoy playing ball or fetch as well! I will also bring homemade healthy treats if you’d like.
