Pet care experience
For the past several years I have volunteered with Austin Pets Alive! I have been professionally trained there to work with friendly, timid, and easily startled dogs. Along with walking dogs and volunteering at the facility, I have also fostered many dogs from Austin Pets Alive! and dedicated countless hours to ensuring their comfort and happiness in my home.

Laurel did a great job and followed all directions. Our Maya seemed content and happy hanging out with her. Laurel was great communicating with us and flexible with drop off and pick up times. We'll definitely use her again when we have a need.
Laurel took great care of my dog Kylo and provided great updates! I know he enjoyed his time with her and I felt very at ease while I was on vacation knowing he was in good hands!

Laurel watched my very energetic Dalmatian named Gus multiple days a week so I could work some long day shifts without leaving him at home all day! Gus was always nice and tired after we got home and was obviously well cared for. He would always get very excited when we pulled up to her house in the morning. Would definitely recommend Laurel to take care of your dog any day!

A typical day
For young and hyper dogs, I’ll take them on multiple walks, play in the backyard with them, and give them ample time to get their energy out. I am also happy to cuddle up with a lower energy or older dog who has less spring in their step!

I am currently taking a gap year and living with a very flexible weekly schedule. This gives me ample time for walks, potty breaks, playtime, and cuddles!
