Love for them; Peace for you. <3
Pet care experience
I have loved and cared for all walks of animals my entire life. Throughout my childhood I was the neighborhood dog walker and babysitter (people and pet!). I have owned MANY cats, cared for many dogs, owned and cared for many horses as a ranch manager, and have always loved snakes (though I have not owned one yet). I would love the opportunity to love and protect your fur-baby while you're away and give you the peace of mind you deserve.
Reviews
Laurel was amazing! She was our first house sitter and we were a little nervous at first, especially since this was the longest we had been away from our pup. We are so glad we chose her! We will definitely be using her services in the future!
Laurel did an excellent job of looking after our Maggie!
Laurel is a very caring caregiver. When I returned, Reign, my dog, had obviously bonded with her and my cat was very comfortable with her too. Since she works remotely, she can be with the animals all of the time, which is great.
About Laurel D.
Communication
Skills
Safety, trust & environment
I am familiar with how to establish and keep boundaries with animals (especially dogs and horses) in a firm but gentle manner. I will always do what is best for the health and safety of both the humans (including myself) and the animals in my care. I am more than happy to follow precise care instructions for your pets and to ask questions on anything I am unsure about. Communication is the most important thing to me.

**Note: I am not a medical professional or vet tech. I have listed below the experience I have and what I am happy to learn, but will require your pet's preferred Veterinarian information for urgent medical needs. If there is a service or need I have not listed, please feel free to ask me about it! Experience: Oral medication - Dogs/Cats/Horses - Both force fed and hidden in food. Medication/Vaccine Injections - Horses only Bathing - Horses/Dogs/Cats (Depending on level of difficulty, prices may vary from $50-$150 per bath - Price to be determined after services rendered.) Willing to learn: Medication Injections for Dogs or Cats - I would like to come for a visit before the sitting dates, to be shown what is needed and advise whether or not that is a service I can provide for your pet. Pricing may vary based on need.

My goal is to tailor myself to your animal's needs. Need lots of play? Sensory stimulation? Quiet cuddles? Or all of the above!? I am here to learn and provided what they need, in order to provide the peace of mind you deserve. ?

I live and work fully remotely from my van. If you have reliable internet connection at home, then I am happy to live and work from there for the duration of my stay, providing 24 hour pet care. Otherwise, I may just need to leave during my regular work week (M-F) for 6-8 hours to access internet from a nearby coffee shop for example.
