Pet care experience
I've been a pet sitter since I was a young girl and was the go-to gal in my neighborhood for all things pet & house sitting when I was younger. In college I was required to do community service each semester and I volunteered at 2 different animal shelters and participated in adoption events. I've been around dogs my entire life. Currently I have 2 senior, very healthy dogs at home and I'm currently fostering a very needy pit bull. I have some experience with training dogs and many experience walking dogs of all behavior levels ;) Since I realize different dogs have different needs when it comes to leashes, I own just about every leash out there as well if you don't have one.

Safety of pets of all ages is very important to me. I keep things off of the floor that won't get in the way of play time or bone chewing. In regards to toys and bones, I always make sure they are in good condition before giving it to my babies so they don't choke or ingest something their stomach cannot handle. I can ensure you that I will treat your dog(s) with the same respect and care that I provide my babies as well during our time together.

A typical day
Walks should not only be engaging for me but also for your dog. I like to bring all natural treats on my walks and as we find objects like benches, jungle gyms, or signposts, I like to encourage your dog to interact with these items. This helps build confidence and body awareness for your pup. If you have a high anxiety pup, I like to help your dog decompress with sniffing and leading. This helps to calm them down.

I am a very passionate small business owner and provide personal training and nutrition. My passion is helping people incorporate nutrition & fitness into their life so they can enjoy fitness and their body. I currently have a full roster of clients in the mornings but I walk and day sit dogs in the afternoons and evenings to make extra cash to open my own training studio.
