Hello! I'm Laura and I've had a deep love for dogs for as long as I can recall - starting with taking my stuffed animal dogs for "walks" around the house on leashes made from shoelaces at the age of five. Now, I have seven years of experience caring for dogs and the occasional cat - ranging from a few days to a few weeks. I am comfortable with all breeds and temperaments. As a runner/dog park frequenter, I'm familiar with the best outdoor play spaces. If your dog is active, I can guarantee plenty of squirrel chasing and sniffs around the local dog park.... If your dog is less athletically inclined or elderly, I can guarantee plenty of pets, belly rubs, and lying in the grass. I am more than willing to work with your schedule, and happy to set up a meeting to get to know you and your dog before you go away. I know entrusting your pup with a new sitter can be stressful, so will also be sure to provide frequent updates and photos while you are gone.

Laura did a great job housesitting and keeping our three small dogs. She was very attentive to their needs and stayed in excellent communication. We were able to relax and enjoy our time away, knowing our babies were properly cared for.
Laura stayed with our 9-month-old cockapoo for over a week this fall and I cannot recommend her enough! She was incredibly communicative the entire time, sending us updates, photos and videos of our puppy. She helped him to keep his routine with feedings, walks and playtime. Laura is excellent with puppies — she managed his energy with plenty of playtime and walks and managed his puppy tendencies with discipline and care. Laura went above and beyond while staying at our place, collecting our packages and watering our plants as well. I had great peace of mind being away from our puppy for a long period of time knowing that he was in Laura’s care.
Laura was great from the start. She was super responsive during the pre-booking phase. She came over to do a meet and greet and was super prepared. She asked all of the right questions to put us at ease in selecting her to watch our pup. She provided daily updates while we were away and knew Rocco was in good hands the entire time. Would absolutely reach out to Laura again to watch our pup!
Perfect in every way! We knew when we first met Laura that she would be a great match for our doodle Rox. She even brought a note pad and took notes!! We appreciated the easy communication and how peaceful Rox was when we came back home. We felt very comfortable with her staying at our home and she left it very, very clean. Laura followed instructions and was not afraid to ask questions to make sure she was doing exactly as we wanted. She is an excellent listener and is going far in life. There is nothing more we could have asked for. We highly recommend Laura with 10 Stars!!
