I have a true love for animals and people. I have a bachelors degree in psychology and a masters in counseling and I am well versed on the psychological and health benefits of dog ownership. Blu, our soft coated Wheaton terrier, my children (ages 12 and 14), and I are all dog lovers! I will dote on your four-legged furry friend and give them all the love and attention they deserve. As children, my sisters and I took care of our dog, Mickey, a Collie and Labrador mix, who lived to 10 years of age. As such, I have the opportunity to take care of dogs who range from six weeks old to more senior dogs. As children, we also grew to love Pierre, a visually impaired French poodle who lived next door to us. As such, I have experience with dog who have special needs.
