Pet care experience
I have always had pets and I especially love the unique pets - I will spoil your baby just as much as you would! Let your vacation become your pet's, as well! I am a graduate student but I already have my own animals, so I already know how to make time to spend time and take care of my babies. I never want to leave an animal without the utmost care and comfort. I strive to ensure I make an animal the most comfortable - whether you'd rather that means spoiling them or sticking to their routine, I will ensure your pet is taken care of! I love outside time, toys, and even adventures to parks/paths, should that be appropriate.

Laura is by far our favorite pet sitter! She treats our dogs like they are her own and they absolutely love her. She is flexible when our plans change as the dates get closer. We just got a new puppy and she did a fantastic job helping him to adjust to his new environment while we were gone. We absolutely recommend her!
Laura is awesome! She watched our two dogs for 5 nights and did a wonderful job. Our dogs we’re well taken care of and seemed very happy. There we’re a couple of bumps during her stay and she handled it like a pro!

Info I would really like to know beforehand is temperament and if the dog has even been traumatized or suspected to have been in the past (i.e. if it's a rescue). I've been bitten a couple of times by some previously abused dogs and had I known more about them ahead of time, I could have spared us both some discomfort.
A typical day
Whether it's play fetch or go on hikes, I love to do whatever the animal prefers and is used to (or, if they need new experiences, we can do that, too!). I personally love taking my own dog to the river or Belle Isle for good outside time, or we explore a new park in RVA.
