Hi, my name is Laura Wrona and I am a 24 year old social worker looking for a rewarding experience caring for for dogs during my time off. I currently work for a non profit organization as an Employment Specialist, where I assist individuals with disabilities find and keep employment. I work mainly normal business hours, Monday through Friday 9am-6pm, predominately in Alexandria, Springfield, and Fairfax, Va. I meet the individuals where it is convenient for them in the community, so that is why I am more spread out. I live in a dog friendly two bedroom apartment in Fair Oaks, Va. I have extensive experience caring for family pets in the past, as well as through Rover on a few occasions prior to moving to Virginia. My typical routine when caring for a dog includes feeding them promptly when the owner directs me to, taking the dog out to use the bathroom at least 5-6 times per day, also depending on what each dog might require. I am a very active person, so walking the dog at least one to two times per day will also be included in my routine. I am very responsible individual who knows by experience and understands how important it is and what a huge responsibility it is to care for another individuals dog, as they are family.
