Pet care experience
Last year I fell head over heels for an 8 week old Australian Shepherd. I showered him with patient love and taught him all the basic commands like sit, stay, leave it, and come while his dad was at work (I'm a full-time work-from-home freelancer). Between play time, bath time, training, and walks, I watched him grow into a gentle and attentive adult. Unfortunately, his dad and I split up, leaving me with a huge empty space in my heart and lots of love to give other four legged friends. I've since been volunteering at PAWS and have grown to love dogs of all breeds, personalities, sizes, and ages! Laura is an extremely caring dog sitter. There is no one else I can leave my two dogs with and have zero anxiety about them while I'm away. Even in unexpected situations like one of my dogs getting sick Laura has always responded exactly how I would have and always prioritized their wellbeing over everything. Laura is terrific! She comes to my house and plays with my very enegerentic 9 week old Golden Retriever puppy twice a day. He has LOTS of energy, and he loves to rip things apart and chew on things that aren't for chewing (typical) but Laura has provided helpful advice on his training. Laura is very reliable and super knowledgeable. She'll start walking him soon (as he's too young now) and she's already given some tips and recommendations on that! Laura will send me updates and pics via text, which I appreciate, especially since he's so active and we hate being away from him! Most importantly, Laura will love your little guy/girl like you do! Can't say enough great things here!

It all depends on what your dog likes and is used to! We can walk or run in South Philly, Center City, or on the Schuylkill River pier; we can relax on the couch or outdoors in the sun; play with his or her favorite toy; work on commands (if there are any you'd like to practice); or go to the dog park so your pup can run around with other friends. As long as you let me know what a typical day for your dog looks like and what you'd like him/her to experience more (or NONE) of, I can make it happen.
