Hi, I'm Laura! I'm looking for new dogs and cats to love while their families are away! I regularly dog/cat/house sit for several families in the area. I love dogs and cats and have my own adopted cat, Detective Jester, who has come to be a very friendly cat. I currently work as a programming and youth services librarian. House sitting, dog walking, cat sitting - I'm up for it all! I make sure to care for your pet as if they were my own, and update you as frequently as you'd like. I am especially partial to cats and large dogs that love to cuddle!

Laura was excellent with Staley staying in our home. We had used another sitter previously and had a terrible experience so we were extremely happy with having Laura take care of things for us. You can rest easy using her to watch your pets. We will without question look to book Laura again when the need arises.
Laura is the best pet sitter! She is the Mary Poppins fir your fur family! “ Practically Perfect in every way!” She quickly became best fur friends with our cat Maybelle and gave us wonderful Updates in their time together. Very reliable and loving to Maybelle- you can tell she really enjoys taking care of fur babies!

I am happy to complete small housekeeping tasks while caring for your pets, such as bringing in the mail and putting your trash bins out on collection day. I will hangout with your pet wherever they are most comfortable!

Please let me know of any medical problems and potential issues that may arise while you are away. Will Fluffy try to bolt out the front door? Spot likes to tear up the couch pillows when he’s feeling anxious? Prepping me helps me prepare and prevent these issues.
A typical day
I'm up for any of your dog's favorite activities and spots! I love getting my daily exercise in with high energy dogs, and am more than happy to curl up with a book and a furry friend.

Availability
Unless it’s a holiday week or weekends, I work full time, so pups used to longer days without potty breaks and cats are the best fits for me.
