Pet care experience
Over the past eight years I have grown to understand dogs and the emotions they have because of my wonderful beagle baby. She’s shown me that dogs give off similar emotive and body language cues that can help us to understand their intuitive wants and needs. Moxie and I are an adventurous duo. We frequent dog parks as far north as Smokey point and as far south as North Tacoma. We also love to be in the woods so hiking is a weekend must do but always, coffee (and dog treat) first! I have had multiple dogs since a very young age and have done overnight sitting for multiple dogs in recent years as well. Moxie and I would love to have a playmate! No matter the weather you can count on me for your doggy needs.

I have seen first hand just how much Laura both cares for and connects with the dogs that she interacts with. When Laura has cared for my pup in the past, my dog has never been happier, which can be seen by the excitement at which she greets Laura with every time they see each other. Overall Laura is extremely caring and will always put the need of your dog first. She is punctual and has always treats my pup as if she were her own. She's great and highly recommended.

Plenty of cuddle time is always on the daily to do list. Walking for a moderate amount during the weekdays and extended over the weekends is always something that brings us joy (and naps). We have lots of toys to choose from if a pup is feeling playful and two people who love to be playful!

Prefer dogs who are socially happy with others, and crate trained (optional) if I need to step out of the house. We also have a senior cat who keeps her distance so cat friendly dogs are a must!
A typical day
I love going for new routes on walks, picking out favorite toys to throw or tug, making “treat bones”, and using good puzzles. My dog and I play hide and seek in our house as well!

Availability
I am currently working 1-8pm, Monday through Friday. My boyfriend does the midday potty-ing, feeding and walks if needed. During the morning hours, we get a brisk 30-45 minute walk and two potty outings. One being the last thing I do before leaving the house for the day. At night we walk our neighborhood which takes us about 15 minutes, full of sniffing for relaxation and stimulation.
