Pet care experience
I have been a pet owner my whole life. I brought my first dog home from a county fair in secret at the age of 10 haha but thankfully my mom was a dog lover as well and we already had other pets as well. I grew up on a hobby farm with dogs, cats, horses, sheep, cows and goats, pretty much everything! I have experience with all kinds of dogs including puppies and seniors. I have raised foster litters of puppies with special needs and have done lots of pet sitting for family and friends over the years as well.

Laura was great with our dog Shadow. He has anxiety and she was very patient with him. She kept us up to date on how he was doing. We definitely will be using her as our dog sitter in the future.
This was the first time I used Laura's service and found her to be very responsive in her communications through Rover and she made every attempt to accommodate my scheduling needs. When meeting her in person, I immediately felt comfortable and knew that she would make my dogs care a priority. My dog came home a happy little guy and because of his positive experience, I am boarding him again with Laura in another week.
Amazing family. We will always return to Laura first whenever we need someone for our pup. Laura is so loving and our pup returns home happy and full of joy, which we love to see

I have 3 young children in my home who love pets, and have been taught how to respect their space, but to safely love on them and play with them. I request only animals that are good with children. I have a fenced in dog run off the side of my house, and additionally a big back yard to play in. I have my own Border Collie/Australian Shepherd neutered male who is super dog friendly and loves to play. The dogs can be separated in my home if need be, or together if you prefer. I ask that all dogs be flea treated with a product like K9 Advantix, Frontline, or Revolution prior to your meet and greet or dropoff. I like to make sure our household stays a safe space for our pets, your pets, and my family.

If your pup has any anxiety or special needs, please help me understand how to best make them comfortable and happy. Please.... Let me know of any behavior that may arise, such as food aggression, jealousy, or loud noises. Especially if your dog is a marker. If so please bring some belly bands. They are available on Amazon, or local let stores.
A typical day
In my house, I typically have playtime with our dog right after breakfast and would love to treat your pup like part of the family! Our Border Collie has a need for a lot of mental and physical stimulation, so we go on walks, play fetch and games of chase multiple times a day. If your dog has specific needs that are greater or less than that, please let me know and I am happy to accommodate whatever makes your pup feel at home.

Availability
I am a stay at home Mom to 3 children and we homeschool as well, so I am home full time. My schedule is very flexible so I am able to meet most pet care needs, even last minute or schedule changes. We also offer a free bath if your pet is well mannered for bathing :-)
