Hi! I’m laura, 29 and i’m new to Rover! However, I have been working as a registered pet sitter on neighbouring platforms for a number of years! I have numerous repeat sits as well as taking on puppies as young as 10 weeks! I am looking to expand my ever growing clientele. Im a professionally experienced and qualified veterinary nursing assistant that has worked in a number of veterinary surgeries in and around Surrey including emergency ‘out of hours’ hospitals for over 4 years. I also studied animal management at collage and have a solid 15 years personal experience in looking after my own pets (from puppy through to senior years) such as Rottweilers and Russell's. I have excellent personal experience with managing ongoing health conditions as my sweet Roxie the Rottie was diagnosed with acute pancreatitis when she was only 2, this required daily care at the vets I worked in, a special I/D diet and daily Medication for a number of years. Pets with ongoing and deteriorating conditions are an area I take extra caution and attention to ensure their specific needs are met. I’ve owned 7 rats and 4 guinea pigs over the years and now currently live solely with just 3 adorable house rabbits. I have worked with and handled exotics such as ferrets, snakes, beardies and other members of the lizard family, as well as completing my studies on a full working farm with horses, cows and sheep. I come packed full of experience to handle your pets every needs, offering lots of play time and long country walks around the Surrey hills - Perfection!
