I grew up on a ranch with lots of farm animals and house pets: Everything from hamsters to horses. Any time not spent riding and showing horses, I was showing dogs in 4-H and FFA including obedience and agility classes. My show dog was a golden retriever, but we also had Labradors that my Dad used to pheasant and duck hunt. I have almost five years of experience in mixed practice veterinary offices, as well as running a horse training business--so animals are definitely a passion for me. I am comfortable with medication administration and special circumstance, in-home petsitting. Throughout high school, college, and into my adult years I have house/ranch sat for people and enjoy meeting others who take the care of their animals as seriously as I do. I currently have two furbabies: Tess, a mini-Australian Shepherd mix and Mikey, a border collie.
