Pet care experience
I have had dogs my whole life, and from the age of 12 have often taken care of neighbors', family's, and friends' pets, walking, feeding, and playing with their dogs and cats. I have taken care of dogs of all age ranges, from young puppies with bundles of energy to older dogs who require special care. I have experience with many rescue dogs, some who are nervous and shy around people, some who are nervous around or aggressive with other animals, and I am adept at handling any situation that may arise. I love animals and would love to help you take care of your pet!

Laura was fantastic! She was flexible and willing to stay late/adjust her hours if necessary. She was also great with her communication and sent updates throughout the day as she was watching my 12-week-old puppy. I highly recommend her and would definitely use her again in the future!

I can house-sit/pet-sit in your home if that is where your dog or cat is most comfortable and take your dog for walks or playdates where you live. If your home is not conducive to walking or playing, I am very happy to walk them around where I live. I live in a quiet neighborhood great for dog walking. It also has a small dog park to let your pet enjoy some time off-leash! My sister's dog (who I live with) LOVES other dogs and would be happy to walk or play with other friendly dogs.

A typical day
I will take your dogs walking around new neighborhoods to give them a sense of adventure and bring them to the park near my home, where they can be let off the leash and play fetch with me and/or with other dogs (if that is okay with you!). I love to hike and there are plenty of dog-friendly trails nearby where your dogs can have an exciting adventure. I am also a runner, so if your dog loves to run I am happy to bring them along on a short or medium-length run! Let me know what their favorite activities and toys are and I will make sure to include them in our time together :)

Availability
I work from home, so I am able to spend most of my days with your pets when house-sitting! I am typically available early mornings, around noon, and after 5pm for walks and drop-in visits.
