I'm a lifelong dog person, and I recently had to say goodbye to the sweetie in my profile pic. Though I'm not quite ready to get another dog of my own, I would love to shower another dog with love and attention and, if permissible, doggie treats.

So thankful for Laura’s care for our senior dog Bagel! It was my first time having anyone outside of family/friends to watch over him and I was nervous, but Laura was attentive, flexible w meet and greets and timing in general- couldn’t ask for a better caretaker over our Bagel and so grateful we could pick him up and see him happy :)
My dog, Ash, loves Laura. He is always so excited to stay with her. She takes good care of him and sends cute videos and pictures. I always feel at ease knowing he is in such a loving environment while I’m traveling.
This is my 2nd time booking a stay with Laura. This is also my 2nd time taking my Jodi girl to a boarder. I rebooked with Laura because she did such a good job with her the first time. She is very attentive to my senior dog's needs and sent photos and frequently communicated with me when required. I will definitely use her services again.

My only pet at the moment is a chill calico cat. She was BFFs with two chihuahuas, who both live in another state now. She won't have an issue with any dog that doesn't have an issue with her, and respects her boundaries. This won't be a good situation for dogs who have high prey drives and tend to chase cats.

I love all breeds of dogs, but really enjoy even-tempered chill dogs. That said, I wind up falling for any dog the more time I spend with it :)
A typical day
I work from home, and will typically go on 1-2 long walks (a mile or more) a day, schedule permitting. When more than one dog is staying with me, they’ll often wear each other out playing. Small pups sometimes sit on my lap while I work, or plop down next to me, but I try and make sure their needs are attended to.

I work from home and have a yard. The dog who has abandonment issues, and needs lots of attention can curl up next to me while I work. And the dog that would prefer to sunbathe outside or bark at squirrels running across the telephone lines, can do that.
