Pet care experience
My name is Laura, my husband is Jack and we have 2 elderly cats, Lucy and Button, and a 3 year old pup named Phoebe. I have been house, cat and pup sitting for family and friends for about 30 years. For the last 5 years we have been involved with the AZ Humane Society and have fostered some very special pups that needed extra tlc, mentally and physically. We have photo books made for each one so there new parents can see their journey of they've come to be well adjusted, healthy and happy. Please know that while we have a foster we will not accept another animal into our home. We are well prepared to handle most anything that could come up. We are just 6 minutes from Sky Harbor airport in a private HOA condo complex that backs to a large park where there is room to play and get in some good sniffs.

Laura and Jack have cared for our Golden Retriever Murphy since he was about 5 months old; he is now going on 11 years old. He loves to spend time with them. Murphy’s ongoing health issues from allergies, frequent breakouts and hip dysplasia requires a lot of attention. Murphy has been well taken care of with medications, walks, day trips, pool time, learning manners and just the constant attention they provide. Because of the care Laura and Jack provide I will not leave our dog with anyone else. Her dog Phoebe loves to be with Murphy and they have fun. Laura and Jack are sometimes foster parents for the Arizona Humane Society (AHS). Laura and Jack do whatever it takes to help their fosters recuperate from colds, tick fever, pelvic and hip fractures, as well as, help stabilize neurological functions; whatever their fosters injury, they have been dedicated to helping them recover. Laura and Jack have been very instrumental in helping each of their fosters find a forever loving home. Again, my husband & I are extremely happy with the care Murphy is given.

A typical day
We have a puppy pool in the back yard for them to cool off and play. We have a large park abutting our complex where we can walk and play and get in some good sniffs. We have Kongs galore for treats and lots of fluffy beds to rest after it all!
