Laura is a fabulous dog caregiver and walker! On two separate occasions, I had injuries the prevented me from being able to walk my pitfall-hound mix, Toffee, regularly. Laura (and her kids) loved coming over to spend time with her--She is about 80 pounds and can sometimes be a bit of a handful, but I never worried about her with Laura. Laura works with the local Humane Society often--She and her family will take shelter dogs on "day dates" in the community to assist with helping them adjust social interactions so they can be adopted. She also teaches a dog training class with college students and is all-around committed to providing great dog care with kindness, compassion, and understanding for where each dog is in their development. I know I can count on Laura if I ever need dog care, and it helps that Toffee is excited to see her, too.
