Laura was a tremendous help to me and my family when we needed a pet sitter for our kitten Ube. We had a family trip planned last summer to drive up to Atlanta, GA to stay for the week. We had hoped that my kitten Ube would be able to join us, but decided it would be too stressful for her. We obviously couldnt leave her alone in the house for so long, so I asked my friend Laura if she could help since she has a cat of her own. I gave her a list detailing Ube's schedule: 3 meals a day, one of her favorite dried shrimp treats in the afternoon, and 20 min scheduled playtime after her meals. I also told Laura about some of Ube's quirks to keep in mind of. For example, that she needs to be near a human at all times, whether it be to take a nap or just relax nearby. And that her favorite place to sit at was the windowsill of my bedroom. With all this information given to Laura, she was able to follow everything to the T, being attentive and updating me frequently on how Ube was doing. I didn't have to remind Laura of anything or to ask her any questions; she was incredibly independent and self-sufficient in taking care of Ube, sending me pictures thoroughout the day of Ube relaxing with her company. I felt at ease knowing Ube was in the hands of a capable person and was able to enjoy my time fully with my family, free of worries. When I came back home from the trip, Ube was clearly very trusting and comfortable with Laura, enjoying cuddles with her before Laura went on her way.
