I am an animal lover with plenty of pet and house sitting experience and am happy to connect you with my references. I am joining Rover as a way to make some additional income that supports my lifestyle and values. I love to stay active and caring for animals is a passion of mine. I have experience caring for dogs, cats and just about any other pet you can think of! I am very responsible and reliable. I work from home and have flexible hours so if you’re looking for someone to pop over to take your dog for a good, long walk or to care for your pet while you’re at work this could be a perfect fit! I’m happy to care for your pet at my apartment while working and will be sure to take plenty of breaks for play, walks or whatever else is needed.

Laura petsat/housesat for us for over 2 weeks while we were in Europe-she was awesome! Our dog has medication that can be difficult to administer, and she handled it beautifully. Including reassuring me :) She has a knack with animals, our dog loves her, and at the same time she is smart, professional, and super reliable. I would highly recommend laura to anyone considering a pet sitter.

It’s important for me to know about your dog’s general temperament, their preferred way to play and exercise, any medical issues I should be aware of, and whether or not they have leash or dog reactivity.
A typical day
My day usually starts with a two-mike walk with my own dog and is followed my working in three to four hour increments from home before another break to take my dog to play in the park in our complex and then for another long walk in the evening. I’d be happy to walk your dog separately from mine depending on their temperament and your preferences.

I’m a working graduate student and my hours are remote and flexible. In addition, I teach yoga classes on Monday mornings and Thursday and Friday evenings, which I’ve blocked off on my calendar.
