*We are fully vaccinated!* Dogs are family, and my family and I would love to take care of your dog! We're a loving family with a 12-year old cockapoo named Skye and two young daughters ages 6 and 9 years old who all love having guest dogs come to stay with us. My husband and I both work from home so we are almost always here to give your dog lots of love attention, and there is no need to worry about your dog being left alone for long periods in an unfamiliar place. We started dog sitting after being customers first because we know most dogs are more comfortable in a home with a family than at a boarding facility. We watch no more than three dogs at a time so it's not too crowded and your dog will get plenty of love and attention. We also live in a great neighborhood where we take dogs for regular walks, or runs if your dog needs a little extra exercise. When dogs stay with us, they truly become part of our family- even if it's just for one night. We're a very loving family and would love to host your pet in our house. **Please note, for new dog guests I require a meet and greet in order to book the stay and prefer at least 3 days' notice when booking.**

Very late in leaving this review however!! My dogs always have a great time at Laura’s house and they are well cared for. We have used her several times. She is our go-to!
Laura did a great job with our sensitive and high attention Frenchie. Laura sent pics and updates along the way of her stay. When we picked her up she tell she was well cared for, seemed happy and we will definitely use Laura again in the future.
Murphy had a wonderful stay with Laura and her family. He made himself at home at their house. Murphy has stayed with laura and her family before and we are so happy that he can stay with this wonderful family that takes such good care of him. We are always so pleased with his care and would highly recommend laura to anyone. Thank you Laura for all you do for murphy.
Laura and her family were wonderful hosts to our 2 dogs. She sent frequent updates and pictures. Couldn't of asked for a better dog sitter!

I am very cautious with dogs around open doors and while outside. I do not have a fenced in yard, so please let me know if your dog is a particularly high 'flight risk' and I will be extra vigilant. I’ll ask you about food allergies/special dietary needs in the meet and greet. I occasionally give guest dogs a treat or bully stick, so please let me know if your dog should not eat anything other than what you provide.

**Please note, for new dog guests I require a meet and greet in order to book the stay and prefer at least 3 days' notice when booking. All meet and greets will be held outside and please wear a mask. Thank you!** **Rates are for roughly a 24 hour period. If you need to extend longer than that (for example, drop off at 8am and then pick up in the evening), there will be an extra day care charge of $20 per dog.** The most important thing that we need to know before booking a stay is that the guest dog will get along with our kids, our dog, and other guest dogs. Our two young daughters (ages 9 and 6) are gentle, caring and good with boundaries, but we just need to be sure that guest dogs are okay with that and don't mind the occasional loud behavior of kids. Our 12 year old dog co-exists great with other dogs but is not overly playful with other dogs. It's almost important that dogs are well house trained. Many dogs that are perfectly trained at home have accidents while in a new place or mark their territory, so if this may the case for your dog we need to know in advance.
A typical day
We live in a great neighborhood with lots of room to walk. Not only are we home during the workday to stay with our guest dogs, but our daughters LOVE to play with our guests and will give them lots of extra attention and playtime. We do our best to replicate your dog's exercise activity that they get at home, but our yard is unfenced so dogs stay on leash outside.

I work from home so I'm here most of the time to be with my guest dogs. My job is very busy, so although I'm here during the day I am mostly focused on my work - which works great for dogs who like company but may not be the best fit for dogs who need a lot of playtime and constant attention throughout the day. I take out the dogs first thing in the morning for a short walk, bathroom breaks as needed, and a longer walk late afternoon before meal time.
