Pet care experience
Hello and thank you for considering me to care for your pup while you are away! I would love to meet a new furry friend, and my pup Koda would love to have a playmate. I know how nerve racking it can be to leave your pet in a stranger’s care, and hope to make you and your dog feel comfortable while you are away. We live in a townhouse with room for the dogs to play and plenty of toys to play with. Dogs are allowed on all furniture and will get lots of cuddles if they’re a cuddler. I love to use games with pups for feeding to help work their minds - I have plenty to try out. We have a small yard in front of our home and much larger yards in the complex as well - there’s always something interesting to sniff.

Laura was an incredible sitter! We hadn’t strayed from our typical sitter and were a bit apprehensive about leaving Monkey behind while we traveled, especially right now with this dog flu going around. Laura was careful about not taking in multiple dogs at a time or allowing dogs if they had been to a dog park recently. She was just as careful about it as us, which put us at ease immediately. During Monkeys stay, we got daily updates on his activities, snacks he had and lengthy walks he got to go on. He was totally spoiled with Laura and we knew he had a great time after the fat nap he took when we got home! Thanks again Laura!! 10/10 would book again.

Laura did a fantastic job watching my puppy Alma! She watched her for multiple days and each day Alma came home a happy pup. I got a detailed report on the day and felt very secure trusting Alma in her care.
We've brought our pup to Laura multiple times and it's always been a stress-free experience. Laura is a great communicator and caregiver, and we love working with her!

A typical day
We live near the Lakewood Gulch trail and tend to do most of our walks there. I’m also happy to bring well-behaved dogs on hikes or to patios with a few friends.

Availability
While I plan to be with your dog the majority of their stay, I cannot accept dogs who cannot calmly and quietly be left alone for an hour in case I need to run an errand. We typically go for 3 walks a day, all before it gets dark to be safe. Dogs have unlimited potty breaks. I work from home during the week. I do not accept same-day bookings. I will do my best to accommodate next-day bookings, but greatly appreciate more advanced notice. In addition to the holidays Rover has designated, I also charge holiday rates for Easter weekend, Juneteenth, and Indigenous Peoples/Columbus Day weekend.
