Before caring for a pet, I like to learn as much as possible about their routine, personality, and any special needs so I can make them feel safe and comfortable right away. This includes feeding schedules, walk or potty routines, favorite activities, any allergies or medical needs, and how they do around new people or other animals. It’s also helpful to know their energy level, training cues they’re used to, and anything that might make them anxious so I can provide the right environment and care. My goal is always to keep things consistent with what they’re used to at home so they feel relaxed, happy, and secure while their owners are away.

A typical day with me includes plenty of attention, playtime, exercise, and relaxation based on each pet’s personality and needs. For active dogs, I enjoy going on walks, playing fetch, tug-of-war, and keeping them mentally stimulated with toys and interaction. For pets who prefer a calmer environment, I’m happy to spend time cuddling, relaxing, and giving them gentle attention and companionship. I make sure pets stay on their normal feeding, potty, and exercise routines so they feel comfortable and secure while their owners are away. Because I have a playful one-year-old terrier mix of my own, I’m used to keeping dogs engaged, active, and happy throughout the day. Pet parents can also expect regular updates and photos so they can see all the fun their pets are having!
