My schedule is very flexible, which allows me to give pets plenty of attention, care, and companionship throughout the day. I’m currently in grad school and work for a local school district, which means I have summers off and additional flexibility throughout the year. I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting during weekdays and weekends, and I do my best to accommodate different routines and last-minute needs when possible. Because I have a one-year-old puppy of my own, I’m already used to maintaining consistent feeding, potty, exercise, and play schedules, so caring for pets fits naturally into my daily routine. I make sure every pet gets the time, attention, and care they deserve while their owners are away.

Safety, comfort, and trust are always my top priorities when caring for pets. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and specific needs so they can feel as comfortable and stress-free as possible while their owners are away. In a client’s home, I make sure pets stay on their normal schedule with feeding, walks, potty breaks, playtime, and plenty of attention and affection. I’m respectful of each home and always keep pet areas clean, secure, and safe. Because I have a one-year-old puppy of my own, I’m very mindful about supervision, consistency, and creating a positive environment for animals. I also provide regular updates and photos so pet parents can feel confident knowing their pets are happy, safe, and well cared for.

Before caring for a pet, I like to learn as much as possible about their routine, personality, and any special needs so I can make them feel safe and comfortable right away. This includes feeding schedules, walk or potty routines, favorite activities, any allergies or medical needs, and how they do around new people or other animals. It’s also helpful to know their energy level, training cues they’re used to, and anything that might make them anxious so I can provide the right environment and care. My goal is always to keep things consistent with what they’re used to at home so they feel relaxed, happy, and secure while their owners are away.
A typical day
A typical day with me includes plenty of attention, playtime, exercise, and relaxation based on each pet’s personality and needs. For active dogs, I enjoy going on walks, playing fetch, tug-of-war, and keeping them mentally stimulated with toys and interaction. For pets who prefer a calmer environment, I’m happy to spend time cuddling, relaxing, and giving them gentle attention and companionship. I make sure pets stay on their normal feeding, potty, and exercise routines so they feel comfortable and secure while their owners are away. Because I have a playful one-year-old terrier mix of my own, I’m used to keeping dogs engaged, active, and happy throughout the day. Pet parents can also expect regular updates and photos so they can see all the fun their pets are having!

What sets me apart is the genuine care, patience, and attention I give every pet. I’ve been around dogs and helping care for them since I was 10, which has given me experience with different breeds, personalities, and energy levels. I would highly recommend Laura . She has taken care of my dog Paisley on multiple occasions and I couldn't be happier. Paisley has a heart condition and has to take heart meds and Laura gave her those when she needed them. She also feeds her and lets her out and takes her on great walks when needed. I was very nervous to let someone else take care of my sweet baby but Laura made me feel very comfortable and she is great with Paisley and she loves her! 😊
