Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of all kinds of animals my whole life, including my own, friends, and family’s pets. Through high school and college I volunteered at a rescue that specialized in cats. Most recently I worked at a county animal shelter as an animal caretaker. Through the shelter I have had training in handling and care of almost every pet imaginable, as well as extra training in dog behavior. I also have training in foster of special needs / challenging behavior dogs, as well as neonate kitten care. I have experience giving many types of medications as well as iv fluids.

This is the third time we’ve used Laura and she is amazing. Always takes such good care of our dogs and leaves the house so clean and in order. Lots of pics of the dogs and coming home is always easy.
Laura is definitely the sitter you need if your pets have medical issues. She is able to give my one cat his pills and the other cat, an insulin shot. She also sends very cute pictures which gives you a peace of mind that they are in good hands.
Laura was so fabulous! Dogs were so happy and we got so many updates showing all the fun they were having while we were away. Laura also left the house in perfect condition and even washed the sheets and towels she used. 10/10 highly recommend!!
Laura is outstanding. I would give her six stars if I could. We left our 14 week old shepherd mix puppy with her for a week and Laura took excellent care of her. She was a great communicator and very conscientious, in addition to caring for our pet like one of her own. Highly recommend and we will definitely be working with Laura again!!

I will care for your babies in whichever way you want. In my home, my dog kids are allowed inside or outside whenever they want and are not kenneled. But I will do my best to be consistent with whatever schedule they are used to. I also enjoy jogging if your pup would prefer a faster paced walk.

Please let me know of any special handling needs for your dog ahead of time. For example are there places they don’t like to be touched, are they reactive to other dogs, are they afraid of strangers? Also any medical needs; do they have a restricted diet, do they have medications they need at a certain time, are there any activity restrictions?
A typical day
I am open to adjusting my day to suit the preferences of your dog. Just let me know what they like; fetch, long walks, swimming, car rides, jogging, brain games, snuggles while watching tv, etc.

I am currently in the process of trying to turn my beekeeping hobby into a business, so I have a lot of free time on my hands when I am not out working on the hives.
