You can rest assured that your dog will be treated as part of the family and as through they were our own. I live with my husband and 9 year old son and they both adore animals as much as I do - although I would always be the main carer when we have a dog to stay with us. We have a house with a large garden - lots of room for zoomies if required! The garden is gated and very secure. We live in close proximity to a great area for walking dogs so your dog can be walked as required. Our dog sleeps in a crate at night but I am happy to provide alternative sleeping arrangements if your dog is used to something different. Please note that your pooch will never be left alone for longer than an hour or 2 (and only then once we are happy that they are settled) - we are very aware of dogs suffering from separation anxiety as this has been a challenge for our cockapoo. If your preference is for them not to be left alone for any amount of time then please let me know and I can work this into the schedule.

Let me know if your dog has any special requirements - such as medications that need to be given at set times, specific feeding times- or simply any routines that they are used to that may help them to feel more settled in our home. When booking with us please give written permission for us to take your dog to our local vets in case of an emergency. We can not take aggressive dogs or dogs that will chew furniture or other items. I am happy to take puppies older than 6 months, however your dog must be fully house trained. Many Thanks.
A typical day
Your dog will get plenty of mental and physical stimulation whilst in our care. We love to go for local walks in the woods near our house (and beyond) and we can play lots of games in the garden (or inside if the weather isn’t nice). Alternatively if your dog likes their own space and enjoys rest time alone then I have quiet areas in the house that they can go to for chill-out time!

Availability
I am available Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights for boarding and Friday-Sunday for daycare. I am happy to look after a pair of dogs together if you have more than one. I can be flexible with drop off and pickup times, however please note that my daycare rate is based on a 10 hour day. I can offer extended hours but this will be at an additional rate. We live 8 miles east of York - ideal for dropping your dog off for the day or the weekend.
