Overnights & Walks with a ❤️!

Pet care experience

I am CPR and First Aid certified for pets. I am compassionate, loving and trustworthy and your dog(s) would be happy and safe in my care. I am comfortable with dogs of all ages and all sizes. I am willing to administer medication. I'm available for walks and visits to spend time with your dog(s) while you are at work or away for the day or on vacation. I am available for overnight care in my loving, tail wagging home or yours. I think it's really important for the safety of your pup(s) not to mix dogs together at my home so I only care for one family's dogs at a time in my home. I don't have any other animals in my home so your pet(s) would be my main priority. I would love to meet with you and your pup(s) so you can see that I would be the perfect match for your furry family member(s)! Thank you, Laura

Magnum was super happy to have a first visit with Laura! He did so well eating and playing. He can be shy so having him comfortable right off the bat made us feel great. Thank you!

Not sure where to begin with Laura other than we LOVED her and you should stop searching rover and book with her right now! She was the best at every step of the way - from initial inquiry for booking, to meet & great, to confirming pick up, the stay with Charlie, communication, etc, everything she did was top notch. Charlie stayed 16 nights with Laura - we know he fell in love with her and will miss her dearly! Some more details: Request for booking - before confirming the booking she called us to go over discuss his demeanor, his usual schedule, go over any quirks, etc Meet & great - we met at her house to do the meet & great, it went without a hitch and she made us feel so at ease that Charlie would be staying with her. She only ever has one dog with her and this is her full time gig, so you don’t have to worry about someone booking and then ignoring your dogs needs. You can tell that Laura has experienced just about everything, which is comforting when leaving your dog for a long duration. Check in before drop off - she checked in leading up to drop off to make sure all details were squared away. Charlie had had seizures in the past & takes 5 pills a day, so his pill schedule and regime is quite difficult and takes a bit of explanation, but she was not at all worried and made us feel so at ease! She asked a bunch of questions to make sure she got to know everything about Charlie before her stay. She went over details we didn’t even think about like what are some of his commands for going potty or get your toy. During the stay: this truly was a vacation for Charlie! Laura has a fenced in yard where Charlie could have access whenever he wanted, and she took him on multiple very long walks throughout the day. He definitely more exercised than when he’s with us! We didn’t meet her husband, but we got some photo updates with Charlie cuddled up to him, so we know her husband was very involved with Charlie too! Laura let us know that she would give multiple photo updates throughout the day and if there is an emergency she would start off with saying it’s an emergency, all other texts she would say would be for fun! She sent 4-6 updates per day which we loved and was super conscious about the time difference! She allowed Charlie on the couch and to sleep in her bed (she said she follows whatever routine the parents have established for him!) The icing on the cake was Denielle, her business partner, who is her back-up plan. If Laura has a long appointment or something, Denielle steps in and in the off chance Laura had an emergency, Denielle is there! It was awesome! All in all, this was the best Rover experience we’ve ever had! In fact, the day we picked Charlie up we already re-booked Laura for our next vacation!!

Laura was amazing. Excellent communication and went out of the way to help with Buddy. Couldn't be happier, we were lucky to find her. Buddy became very attached. We appreciate the daily feedback and pictures while we were away. Highly Recommend, an asset to Rover!

Laura was a phenomenal sitter and took care of our dog as we would have. Our dog doesn’t do too well with other dogs, and so finding a place that didn’t have other pets for Lacey was very stressful for us. Thank god we found Laura!! This was also our first time leaving our dog away from us so we were naturally very nervous, but Laura was so good about sending updates and pictures regularly. Lacey felt so comfortable at her place and I have no doubt that Laura can not only take care of your dog but also make sure you feel comfortable and confident in leaving your dog with her. She is extremely thorough, making sure that your dog has a safe and enjoyable stay. I will definitely be booking with Laura again.

I have a large area of my property that is fenced in and I live on a cul-de-sac. I have two and a half acres and I live in the country so it's safe to walk on my street and there's virtually no traffic. I only watch one family's dogs at a time so there's no chance of your dog(s) being injured by someone else's dogs in my home. If I am watching your pets in my home, I try to mimic as best as possible what their daily life would be in your home. For example, if your dog sleeps in your bedroom, your dog would sleep in my bedroom. If your pup is allowed on the furniture, than your pup is a lot on my furniture. If you prefer your dog not to be on furniture, I will reinforce that in my home as well. I try to keep everything as close to how your dog is used to at home to make him or her feel comfortable in my home. If you prefer that I stay in your home, I am comfortable doing that as well. I am fully bonded and insured with Rover and my own private insurance as too.

Information Laura M. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know if your dog has any fears such as loud noises or thunder etc. or other triggers that might stress him or her so I can make sure he or she is comforted during these events. Please let me know if your dog has any type of allergies. Please let me know his or her favorite things to do or to play with. Most importantly, please let me know the commands you use when speaking to your dog so he or she will understand my language. For example some people say "go potty" and others say "go pee pee" , etc

A typical day

I love to walk! I enjoy taking long walks with my furry friends! I have a lot of energy and enjoy playing fetch, hide and seek and running around with a dog. I am very goofy and like to sing and dance to help more active dogs release some energy. If a dog is more of a couch potato, I am happy to sit and snuggle and watch movies with him or her.
