Pet care experience
I'm a lifelong animal lover with experience caring for all types of animals. I love caring for dogs, cats, birds, horses, goats, farm animals, and reptiles. In addition to caring for my own pets, I have been pet-sitting since I was a preteen (many years ago). I've continued pet sitting, dog walking, and loving animals in general since then! A true "animal person," I love to meet new critters and spend quality time with them: playing, petting, grooming, training, and taking them on adventures. I even take my cat on hikes! If I am caring for your pet in your home, I am also an expert in plant care so your houseplants and/or garden will continue to thrive while you're gone. I'll send you daily pictures and updates and be available to you 24/7 for questions or concerns. I have studied first aid for dogs and cats, so you can rest assured that your pet will be safe in the event of any medical emergencies. I'm also skilled at administering medications and care devices. I hope to meet you and your furbabies soon!

Have they been socialized with other dogs and humans? Do they do well on a leash? Do they have any medical conditions or concerns? What training are they currently undergoing? I don't have any breed preferences, but I do have experience with large breeds and love to take care of them.
A typical day
Walks for dogs I'm boarding will be exploring around my yard (full of fruit and pine trees) and my neighborhood, a quiet dead-end road that leads up to a local mountain. I would also love to take them on dog-friendly hikes around town if they are able to hike on a leash. Playing fetch and tug-of-war are some of my favorite activies. I also enjoy training, especially teaching old (and young) dogs new tricks! I will work hard to maintain any training that you're working on.
