Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs all my life, specifically spaniels and terriers. I'm currently dog-less, and missing having a furry friend to hang out with. I'm also a runner, and if your feel like your dog could use a more strenuous workout sometimes, I would love to take it running with me! I generally do about 3 mile runs, but I can work up to longer or shorter based on your dog's needs. My family's dog back home also had some issues with anxiety, and I took the lead in working with her to overcome that through training, positive reinforcement, and exercise. I've worked with high energy breeds and dogs of all ages. I would love to meet your pup and go on adventures together!

Laura is amazing! Our dog Ripley absolutely loves Laura. Since she lives in our neighborhood, we sometimes run into her on our walks and Ripley goes crazy! Clearly Laura is a big hit!

I'm open to working with all breeds. My own dogs in the past have been miniature schnauzers and English Springers. I like to know what your dog's normal routine is, and what kinds of rules you have for them in the house? Are they allowed on furniture? Do they take medication or have to have a specific type of food? Are there any behavior issues you're working on, anxiety or food aggression?
A typical day
Lately I've been doing some fun runs on the Willamette Greenway and through my neighborhood in Southwest. I've also starting trying to learn some of the local dog parks here in Portland, if your pup is up for playing with others. If those things don't sound like your pup, I also enjoy Netflix and giving belly rubs.
