Pet care experience
I’ve taken excellent care of my partner’s Senior dog, Kylie, for over five years. Kylie recently took passage over the rainbow bridge. We spent a lot of time going for short walks and hikes outdoors in our quiet neighborhood, forest and beach (always on leash). We loved visiting our local state parks and dog parks because it was important for us to socialize with new furry and human friends!

Laura is a woman with a deep heart and a lot of love. She has been self-employed as a musician for well over a decade, so she understands commitment, perseverance, and how important showing up is. Laura has been a dog owner with her girlfriend's dog for the last several years, and we love taking her old girl out with us for walks in the forest, and neighborhood. She is always patient, compassionate and thoughtful while in the role of primary caregiver of their dog.
Laura has a great attitude and temperment for pet care. I have observed she respects her animals and the ones that pass through her life through loved ones and friends. Furthermore, I’ve seen many of them grow into extensions of her own family. Laura has genuinely cared for the wellbeing, health and agility of my pet. Laura offers positive energy that will put your pet at ease to rest, play or stay!

We just adopted a new puppy, Dominic. Dominic’s vaccines are not up-to-date, so we are not accepting boarding requests at this time. We do not have a fenced in yard. We live in a two bedroom-two bathroom house in a cul-de-sac neighborhood (very few cars/traffic).

A typical day
We love to go outside as much as possible for 1-2 mile walks around the neighborhood, trail hikes, and beach walks. We occasionally use our neighbor’s fenced in yard for training exercises, enrichment, and other treat associated games.

Availability
I’m working full-time at Neah-Kah-Nie High School. I have time to house-sit, feed, walk, check in and play with your cats/dogs on weeknights (4:30-9:30pm) and most weekends. My partner works Friday-Monday. She is available to help dog/cat sit (at our home) on Tuesdays at 9am thru Thursdays 9pm.
