Pet care experience
My guests and their owners love coming to visit my house and dogs. They can trust me to take excellent care of their dogs. I've had dogs of my own most of my life, and dog sitting since 1974. They get to sleep all day & go for walks with my older pugs.... Very friendly cat keeps to himself and has tendency to avoid dogs all day... Great neighborhood with lots of doggie friends to play with. I have a small enclosed yard for potty breaks and my home is very pet friendly. I prefer smaller dogs but have experience with larger breeds, taken care of golden retrievers and shepherd mixes. I have been house sitting and caring for dogs and cats almost 40 years and would like to open a doggy daycare next year.

Prefer pugs, terrier, smaller and older dogs, but I also love "pit bull" mixes, shepherds and mutts.... Must be fixed, up to date on shots, get along with my pugs.... Will not tolerate biters or bad attitudes.
A typical day
I love to hang out with the dogs and read, putter in my house while they play in the kitchen,,. My pugs are old and sleep a lot but they love to go for walks around the neighborhood twice a day. Potty breaks in yard every two hours and lots of together time. If necessary, leash, crate and obedience training on limited basis. Most of the time, I love to hang out in the kitchen with the dogs where they can rest or play while I read or cook. We especially love biscuit baking and treats... Lots of treats and attention.
