I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life. Horses, dogs, cats, I love and hold a special place in my heart for all. I grew up in an animal friendly household surrounded by horses, cats and dogs of all sizes, (from Chihuahuas to Great Danes) so I am very comfortable with all breeds and temperaments. I currently have one sweet kitty, Boots, she is 3 years old sisters and is the light of my life. We lost our family dog, Boston, to old age last year and I miss him every day. My fiance and I recently moved into a wonderful house in Mount Vernon with a giant yard and are looking forward to bringing home a pup of our own sometime in the near future. I am very responsible and know how to properly balance fun with discipline. I studied Hospitality and Business Managment at Washington State University and have worked in the hospitality industry for the last twelve years. I recently decided to change my career path and am hoping to follow my dream of helping heal others by pursing a career in Equine Therapy. At the moment my schedule is wide open, so my availability is very flexible! I am very active and love the outdoors so whether you are looking for someone to take your sweet pup on a short walk or a long hike, I’m your gal! I am a PNW girl born and raised, I love hiking, camping, swimming, volleyball and traveling. In my down time I try and spend as much time as possible being active and enjoying all that our beautiful world has to offer! I am also very laid back and enjoy quality quiet time at home cooking a homemade meal, reading a good book or relaxing on the couch spending quality time with my family. I understand that like humans, dogs and cats have different personalities, temperaments and needs to keep them happy and healthy. My goal is to fulfill those needs and care for them to the best of my ability! If you have an active pup they will love walking, hiking or playing with me on our fun adventures. If you have an easy going, calm natured pup they will enjoy lots of snuggles, loving affection and quality down time in the comfort of their own space. This also applies to my care for cats, I have had multiple kitties throughout my life all with different personalities, temperments and needs so I understand that sometimes cats require varying levels of attention and care. Whatever needs your pet may have I’m sure they will love my company morning, noon or night!
