Pet care experience
I have owned and cared for pets for over 25 years. Throughout childhood, I cared for numerous cats and dogs (both large and small) and also have minimal experience with rabbits, fish, and reptiles (bearded dragons). I currently own one cat (domestic shorthair) and one dog (Pug). I’ve also watched acquaintances pets on numerous instances throughout my life including various dogs and cats and took great care to ensure their pets were very well cared for during their absence. I went to school to become a veterinarian due to my affinity for animals but switched over to veterinary diagnostics after obtaining a student worker position in a veterinary bacteriology laboratory. I currently serve as the manager of this laboratory department and have worked at this facility for over 15 years. I am looking to work and care for animals in addition to the position that I currently hold.

It’s important for me to know what makes your dog feel the most comfortable and what their favorite activities are. It’s also just as equally important to know what your pets fears are so that I can manage those and avoid them if possible. I also need to know any medical information involving your pet so that I can make sure your pet stays safe and healthy during our visit’s.
A typical day
I like to ensure that the dogs I watch have the best possible experience while under my care. Going on walks, providing lots of love and attention, and playing their favorite games are all parts of what I would provide for the animals I care for.

Availability
I currently work 8-5pm M-F, so I would have time to care for your animals in the early morning and evening weekday hours and most hours throughout the weekends.
