Pet care experience
I have always been around dogs, mine is 14 years old and I’ve had her since she was a year old. If I am staying in your home overnight, Willow will have to join me. I love to take my dog on bike rides and am great at teaching other dogs to run with a bike as well, leashed to the headset of the bicycle for safety. I recently moved to Anchorage and am in-between “real” jobs so i am available pretty much all the time. I am good with boundaries and teaching/reinforcing good behaviors in dogs. I only believe in positive reinforcement, no punishment, and I am versed in the Cesar Milan approach to dominance, though I know not everyone believes in that approach and I would love to be consistent with whatever training approach a dog is being taught at home. I love animals and I am here to help.

Disclaimer; Laura is my daughter. Now that that’s in the open, I will tell you that Laura has had an uncanny affinity for animals her entire life. Her dog, Willow, who is her constant companion, literally sought her out, over and over, until her owners gave in and asked Laura if she wanted to adopt Willow. “She obviously likes you more than us,”they said. Laúra loves little more than playing, talking, and walking with dogs. All dogs; big, small, old, and young, seem to sense in Laura a kindred spirit. If you have dog that needs a walker with heart, Laura will not disappoint you.
Laúra is amazing with animals. I’ve known her for years and seen her work with and take care of many different kinds of dogs. Her compassion, patience and care set her apart. Her long time companion dog, Willow, and she share an incredible bond. I would trust Laúra with my pets in any situation.
Laura, will make the best pet sitter ever, she is responsible, caring and dependable, I would highly recommend her for employment. I know she has a dog that she takes great care of.
