Pet care experience
I personally own two cats and two dogs (Rottweilers), and previously a German shepherd and toy fox terrier. Friends and family have leaned on me to take care of their pets when they are unable to and I’m more than happy to do so. I love all animals of all sizes. Heck, if I could take care of zoo animals, I’d do that too.

Pets need to trust their humans. No matter who they are. Especially when meeting new people it’s more important than ever that they know and trust you. When meeting any pet for the first time I am calm and confident with them. I let them come to me, and evaluate for themselves so they feel comfortable and safe. If your pet has certain quirks like needing me to play fetch to know I am “good” or feeding them treats right out of my hand, I adapt to YOUR pet’s needs. Plus, any directions you provide I will follow to ensure the health and safety of your pet.

Let me know if the dog has any special needs for quirks I should know about. If dog walking, need to know how they are around other dogs or people. Any specific training words, commands, specific treats, feeding times, etc.
A typical day
I like playing with dogs and their favorite toys. Fetch or tug of war. Even if they just want to sit and be pet, or enjoy training exercises with treats, I’m flexible to whatever they enjoy doing. For walking, I typically will walk them around the neighborhood near their home. I would not typically take them anywhere that requires me to drive them, unless preferred and approved by the owner.

I’m currently working full-time. I work remote so I am able to plan my days accordingly between work and off-work duties. On weekends I am most available throughout the day for longer service required.
