Pet care experience
I am new to Rover.com, but I am not new to dogs and their needs. I have been boarding dogs for several years. I am currently a Volunteer Puppy Raiser with Canine Companions for Independence. The puppies I raise will be place with the disabled for a lifetime of love and companionship. Boarding is a lot of fun. I get to know your dog and they get to know me. I will take care of your dog(s) like they are on vacation, at school or just hangin' out...whichever you prefer.

We used Laura for Day care services over 4th of July. She had fast communication and I appreciated that she has extensive experience with Labradors which put us at ease leaving our 11-month old Lab with her. She was careful in introducing her own Lab to our puppy (initially through the gate and then in their yard) which showed us first hand her ability to manage dog introductions.
Nellie came home happy and tired. Updates and photos from Laura were great, I never worried about Nellie, it looked like she was having a blast.

The dogs I board and sit are treated like family. I talk to them like they are people. Even when I walk by one of them, I find myself saying "Excuse me". My yards are fenced, including my front yard. If one ran out the front door, they would be fenced in. I am very cautious with your dog as if he/she were mine. We play, eat and nap. I am interested in your dogs daily routine and I can keep it the same or change it up.
A typical day
Basically, our day will be playing, walking, a little training with treats, followed by a nap. repeat If okay with you, we will do field trips. I am very careful about your dog coming into contact with others, unless it is okay with you. I am home most of the day and I like to send my clients text messages and photos as an update. You will not have to worry when your dog is with me.
