During this time of insecurity and change I want to do something for my community to help them get back to work, and possibly some local travel. I know many of our fur babies have been spoiled by having us home with them, and some doggy daycare might be just the thing to help you get back to work! The stimulation, light training, and socialization ensures that when you get home from work they will be ready for some nice quiet time with you. Many people are turning to in-home daycare for the personal touch I can provide, due to smaller numbers. Dogs are my life, this is all I know, and I love my job. I do not leave the dogs I sit for. I spend my entire day with them providing them with the love and attention they require. I have been in some way involved with the service of dogs my entire life, as a teen and young adult my mother and I bred and trained Rottweilers and Dobermans. I was also involved with the AKC as a professional trainer. We had many of our own dogs as well as our client's dogs for which we earned championship titles. As well I was named best junior handler many times during my journey training and showing. During my time raising my children, of course, we had family dogs and I also took my friend's and family's dogs for them while they vacationed. So it only seemed natural to open my own private boarding business when my kids were grown. When I heard about Rover, I was ecstatic to be involved with a company that promoted the personal touch of private professional care, I feel that the relaxed environment of keeping dogs in our home is so much better for them. They adapt so much better when they are left in a home environment with a friend or two! I so enjoy the dogs I could literally watch them play all day! I provide plenty of playtime as well as plenty of love cuddle time. Having lots of experience with large breeds also, and will see that they get the extra exercise they can sometimes require. I do provide constant supervision and care, as my entire life is about providing the best care and love I possibly can. My location in Melbourne is a perfect location for most of the health care centers for healthcare professionals looking for care. As well the airport is within just a few miles. My house is set up just for pet sitting, with the entire home puppy-proofed! With a tall stone wall backyard to provide all the exercise they want! Great lanai to offer those that like to laze in the breeze and a newly enclosed breezeway devoted to the dogs that just like the air conditioning! In all I try to duplicate the routine you have already established, many dogs today suffer from separation anxiety, which can be traumatic, and sometimes you won't know until it happens. Keeping with their normal schedule and sleeping arrangements helps to smooth it out for them. As a trainer, I realize also how important it is to always reinforce your potty and feeding schedules as well as any commands you have incorporated into your training.
