I have more than three years of dog kennel experience, caring for and walking with dogs of many different sizes, demeanors, and personalities and quirks. My family has also had a dog for 10 years, although she doesn't live at my home now. I am familiar with the signals that dogs send to inform you about their comfort level. I will pay close attention to your pets' needs and happiness, so that they feel safe and have fun during our time together. I have walked very small and very large dogs alike, so as long as they are trained on a leash, I can walk them! In addition to dogs, I will also happily look after cats, birds, tortoises, fish, rabbits, guinea pigs, etc. I would love to be friends with your animals!

Laura has taken care of my rescue dog Annie before, and I counted on her for a whole week to come walk my pup while I was in the office. I came home every day to an exercised, relaxed, and very happy dog! Annie absolutely loves Laura and I love working with her!
Laura was great. She stayed at our house with dog for over a week. She kept the house clean and allowed us to enjoy our vacation knowing our dog was in good hands. We will definitely be using her again and would recommend her anyone needing a dog/house sitter.

It would be great to know if your pet has any behavioral issues that impact the way your dog interacts with humans (especially new ones) or other dogs, and/or any allergies and how you manage them.
A typical day
I like to be sure dogs get playtime at some point in the day, especially in the afternoon and evening after they've had their daytime snooze. Even if it's too hot in Tucson for more than a quick walk or potty break, I love to provide enrichment in other ways!

I have a full-time job and my work schedule is variable but often flexible. I'm typically more available on weekends but it can depend on the week. I try to keep my calendar up to date, so feel free to message me anytime and I'll do my best to make it work!
