Pet care experience
I've been priviledged to provide care for all different types of animals of all walks of life! Dogs, cats, birds, fish, chickens, lizards, and more, and I've loved every one of them! I've cared for neighbors pets, friends and families pets, employers and coworkers pets, and new friends made along the way by word of mouth! Everyone I've watched pets for has entrusted in me to walk their dogs ( and cats even!), feed, groom, play with, snuggle, and take on little adventures to the parks, hiking, beach, or just relax with them and give them extra snuggles. I'm an experienced EMT and soon to be RN, so I am able to handle any situation that may arise. I have experience with puppies, kittens, senior cats, senior dogs, dogs and cats with special needs, pets requiring medication, special diet, and more. Our fur babies are members of the family and I strive to make them as comfortable as possible as they are temporarily apart from their owners however short or long that may be. I treat them as I would want my fur babies to be treated, and I love them and treat them like there my own!

I have a fenced yard with a dog run on either side of the house. My dogs relax indoor in the cool ac and sunbathe outside when they want. my dogs take regular walks, go to the park to run around and play, and play in their kiddie pool/play in the backyard a lot as well. I regularly bathe them, brush their teeth, and don't be afraid to let me know if you dog has specific care instructions as well! My home environment is a safe space for them to play, snuggle, and be themselves and is very safe.

Please do not hesitate to let me know if your pet has any special needs, medications, special diets, specific routines, etc. I would also like to know if your pet has possibly any aggression issue with strangers, separation anxiety, food aggression, behavioral issues, crate trained, potty trained, and things of that nature because I want to provide a safe space and interaction or both myself and your pet!
A typical day
If I am doing drop ins and daily checks on your pets, I am very clean, respectful, and always make sure the home is safe and the pets surroundings are safe while you are away. Whatever your pet's typical routine is, I will absolutely follow it to ensure they are stress free and feel as comfortable with me as possible while I am in their safe space/your home. I always make sure that our pets have fun and are safe while being themselves! They will always have fresh water, food at their designated mealtimes (please send their food with them for their stay) lots of toys to play with, lots of exercise and down time to nap and sunbathe. For the water loving dogs, I also have a kiddie pool for them to play in and keep cool, especially during these hot summer months!

Availability
I'm a nursing student, so pet care fits into my schedule pretty smoothly. My schedule never interferes with my job duties and vice versa. I have the luxury of a pretty open schedule that allows me to spend optimal amounts of time with my pets and pets that I am sitting, doing drop ins/daily checks and walking, etc. My pets have a pretty routine schedule and if there are any specific requests you may have for your pets schedule, please do not hesitate to let me know!
